Your analogy cannot be ruled out, but what I would like to know is why are the two water(?) bodies (if at all that is water) adjacent to the red block stark green in colour? Liquids mix right and the distances between them may not less than than 5 kms, which is a very short distance for fluids to travel. And besides Bush is not that dumb to leave dead bodies out in the open for the world to see. So I dont think its a blood filled Iraqi lake.
